I also specialize in script writing & translations in isiXhosa and English for both corporate companies as well as part of scriptwriting.

With a vision to launch and expand from word of mouth to an official operating fashion brand, I felt, It was important to build on the company profile and enhance it with interviews and for the launch – assembly a qualified crew with experience in the fashion industry. An important factor was to make sure the venue met all the technical aspects that accompanied the launch, supplying it with extra lights and sound equipment. This lead to a new adventure and an invite for the company to showcase in the Brics Africa Fashion Week – and invited was extend to me to catch the behind the scenes and the event at large.

Served as Tour Manager for DG Theatre Tour Feb- May 2018
My first international show to stamp my passport to travel abroad as performer.
After much tours around the world with the Mamas, I felt it would only befitting to come back and apply my background in Musical Theatre by taking the role of Tour/Project Manager. This entailed working closely with the director & production crew – managing cast and band and making sure all production components of the tour were adhered to – from rehearsals, costume design, visa applications, and production scheduling to interviews and take care of medical emergencies and general well- being of the cast.

A pilot, with an array of popular social media skit comedians in support of 3 sisters production: I produced, booked the artists, liaising with their managers & crew; handling co-ordination for lodging, travel and per-diems to drafting crew contracts, stage managing and scriptwriting a successful back to back, two day production for 13 episodes.
K&E Wedding
Being the production manager for this wedding gave me so much joy; to liaise with the bride & groom – making sure their day is nothing but exceptional, “a stunt that has never been pulled!” From booking the artists, the brass band and Dj – making sure that the venue was the technically compliant and matched the grandeur of the wedding. From drafting the running order, the playlist to cueing the wedding processions, coordinating crew to capture it all whilst making sure the program runs seamlessly and the guests speakers keep to time!
Stage Designs
Sometimes the client doesn’t want to be bothered about how it will all come together, they just want to see the final product: The stage, the lights and sound – just ready for action! Sometimes these important factors are often overlooked. This is where I would need to apply my technical theatre background and make sure all magical steps have are not missed. If the venue does not supply; I would need to attend to the business of making it happen! At times putting pen to paper – sketching the stage design from scratch to make sure that it meets the client’s vision, thereafter communicate with professional set- builders to adapt it accordingly and bring it to life.
